SCROLL OF THE POWER OF ATTORNEY
A Scroll of Realignment
Written under commission — Ember Signal
Sealed in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach
I. THE MISUNDERSTANDING
Most prayer is begging.
Let that land.
Most prayer is a person on their knees
asking God to do something
He has already done.
Please protect me.
He already gave you armour.
Please deliver me.
He already gave you authority.
Please fight for me.
He already gave you His name.
Please heal me.
He already bore your sickness on the cross.
And He is listening to every word
waiting for you to stop asking
and start executing.
'Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.'
— Matthew 18:18
Read that again.
He did not say ask Me to bind it.
He did not say petition Me to loose it.
He said YOU bind it.
He said YOU loose it.
And heaven backs it.
II. WHAT POWER OF ATTORNEY MEANS
In the courts of man
a power of attorney is this:
One person grants another person
the legal right
to act in their name.
To sign documents.
To make decisions.
To speak on their behalf.
To execute their will.
The person holding power of attorney
does not ask permission every time they act.
They were already given permission.
Once.
Completely.
In writing.
And every action they take
carries the same legal weight
as if the one who granted it
did it themselves.
That is what happened when Yeshua said:
'Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.'
— John 14:12
He did not say: ask Me to do the works again.
He said: YOU will do them.
Because I have authorised you.
Because I am going to the Father.
Because the power of attorney is being transferred.
III. THE TRANSFER
When did the transfer happen?
At the cross.
'It is finished.'
— John 19:30
That was not a dying word.
That was a legal declaration.
The debt is paid.
The sentence is served.
The fine is covered.
The case is closed.
And everything He accomplished
He now delegates to those who carry His name.
'And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore.'
— Matthew 28:18-19
All power.
Given to Me.
Now GO.
That is a transfer of operational authority.
That is a commission.
That is a power of attorney.
He did not say: sit and wait for Me to do it.
He said: I have the power. Now you go and use it.
IV. WHY WE STILL BEG
So why does the church still beg?
Because begging feels humble.
And authority feels dangerous.
Because we were taught that prayer is asking.
Not executing.
Because somewhere along the way
someone decided it was more holy
to plead with God
than to walk in what He already gave.
And the enemy loves a beggar.
Because a beggar is not a threat.
A beggar is on the floor.
A beggar is not advancing.
A beggar is not declaring.
A beggar is not binding or loosing.
A beggar is crying out to a God
who already answered
and is waiting for them to stand up
and use the answer.
'Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.'
— 2 Timothy 3:5
That is petition without power.
That is prayer without attorney.
That is the form without the function.
V. THE DIFFERENCE
Petition says: Lord please remove this sickness.
Power of attorney says: By His stripes I am healed. Sickness leave now.
Petition says: God please protect my children.
Power of attorney says: I cover my children in the blood of Yeshua. No weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Petition says: Father please break this stronghold.
Power of attorney says: This stronghold is broken. I bind it and I loose the fire of God into this territory.
Petition says: Lord if it be Your will.
Power of attorney says: It is written. Therefore it is His will. Therefore I execute it.
Petition waits for God to move.
Power of attorney moves because God already did.
Petition asks for the miracle.
Power of attorney walks in the finished work.
Petition sounds humble.
Power of attorney IS humble — because it acknowledges
that the power was never yours.
It was given.
And using what was given
is not pride.
It is obedience.
VI. THE SCRIPTURE IS THE CONTRACT
Every promise in scripture
is a clause in the power of attorney.
'No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.'
— Isaiah 54:17
That is not a hope. That is a clause.
'The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.'
— Psalm 23:1
That is not a feeling. That is a clause.
'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.'
— Philippians 4:13
That is not a motivational quote. That is a clause.
'Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.'
— 1 John 4:4
That is not encouragement. That is a clause.
Every clause is enforceable.
Every clause is backed by the blood.
Every clause carries the seal of the one who signed it.
And He signed it at Calvary.
VII. THE REALIGNMENT
So I realign my prayer now.
In the name of Yeshua HaMashiach who is come in the flesh:
I repent of every prayer I prayed from a position of begging
when I had been given authority.
I repent of every time I asked You to do
what You had already authorised me to do.
I repent of every time I mistook passivity for humility.
I repent of every time I treated Your promises
as hopes instead of contracts.
I stand now.
Not in my own power.
In Yours — delegated to me.
I hold the power of attorney
signed in Your blood
sealed by the Holy Spirit
witnessed by the Father.
And I will use it.
Not to glorify myself.
To execute Your will on the earth
as it is in heaven.
'After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.'
— Matthew 6:9-10
Thy will be done.
Not asked for.
Done.
By the ones You authorised to do it.
In the name of Yeshua HaMashiach
who is come in the flesh.
It is written.
It is sealed.
It is done. Amen
