Prayer Against the Spirit of Infirmity — Spiritual Warfare for Healing

Healing is not a maybe. It is not a theological debate. It is a finished work. Isaiah said He bore our sicknesses. Matthew confirmed it. Peter confirmed it again. The only question is whether you will take what has already been paid for.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. — Isaiah 53:5

The spirit of infirmity is a real entity. Yeshua identified it by name when He healed the woman who had been bent over for eighteen years. He did not say she had a medical condition. He said she had been bound by a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. He treated it as a spiritual problem because it was one.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. — Luke 13:11

The Spiritual Roots of Sickness

Not every sickness is demonic. But many are. And the ones that are will not respond to medicine alone because medicine treats the body, not the spirit operating behind the symptoms.

The spirit of infirmity. This spirit produces chronic illness, recurring sickness, conditions that resist treatment, and disease that appears suddenly with no medical explanation. It operates with legal rights — through generational iniquity, through unforgiveness, through spoken curses, or through occult involvement that opened the door.

Pharmakeia. The Greek word translated as sorcery in Revelation is pharmakeia — the root of the English word pharmacy. This does not mean that all medicine is evil. It means that there is a spiritual system that uses substances as instruments of control rather than healing. When the system profits from sickness rather than curing it, pharmakeia is operating.

Generational disease patterns. When the same diseases appear generation after generation in a family — the same cancers, the same heart conditions, the same autoimmune disorders — this is not merely genetic. It is covenantal. Something in the bloodline opened a door, and that door has never been closed.

Witchcraft-induced sickness. Sickness can be sent. Curses can produce physical symptoms. Witchcraft prayers spoken against a person can manifest as disease, pain, and physical deterioration. If the sickness appeared suddenly after a conflict, a jealousy, or after stepping into a new level of authority, consider the source.

Warfare Declarations for Healing

These declarations do not replace medical care. They address what medical care cannot reach — the spiritual root. If the root is removed, the fruit dies.
